Ringraziamo una volta ancora il Prof. Logroscino, la Prof. Borroni e la Dr.ssa Alberici per averci invitato e averci lasciato lo spazio necessario per manifestare davanti alle più importanti Autorità Europee che si occupano di questa malattia le esigenze e i bisogni, materiali e psicologici, a lungo e breve termine,  che prima o poi incontra chiunque si trovi ad affrontare l’FTD.

Un grande grazie va a tutti i presenti che con grande attenzione, umanità ed empatia hanno raccolto e compreso le nostre richieste.

La presenza di AIMFT, che rappresentava tutte le associazioni europee,  ci ha consentito anche di assistere alla nascita di “Frontiers” (acronimo di Frontotemporal Dementia Incidence European Research Study) il Gruppo di Ricerca Europeo fondato per raccogliere tutte le ultime novità sotto il profilo diagnostico e terapeutico ed armonizzare le diverse procedure di approccio alla malattia. Aimft ha donato a Frontiers il suo logo ufficiale,  nato dalle brillanti intuizioni dei nostri giovani graphic designer Chiara Facciolo ed Enrico Gheller (Il granchio pon-pon).

We would like to thank Prof. Logroscino, Prof. Borroni and Dr. Alberici once again for inviting us and allowing us the time, in front of the most important European authorities, to express the needs, both psychological and material, that people faced with FTD encounter in the short and in the long run.

A big thank you also goes to all the participants, who understood and welcomed our requests with great attention and empathy.

AIMFT’s participation, on behalf of all the European associations, has allowed us to witness the birth of “Frontiers” (an acronym for Frontotemporal Dementia Incidence European Research Study), the European research group founded to gather all the new developments from a diagnostic and therapeutic point of view, in order to harmonize all the different approaches to the disease. AIMFT has given Frontiers its official logo, created by our young and brilliant graphic designers Chiara Facciolo and Enrico Gheller (Il granchio pon-pon).
